A hearty Russian cold dish
Step 1
To make the marinade, mix the garlic, onion, marjoram, vegetable oil, salt and pepper in a large bowl. Rub the marinade thoroughly into the pork, wrap in SAGA Cooking Paper and refrigerate overnight.
Step 2
After searing the room-temperature meat in a hot frying pan, make a SAGA Package and bake in a pre-heated oven at 160ºС for 30 minutes or until the core temperature of the meat is 78ºС. Allow to cool before thinly slicing.
Step 3
Serve with horseradish or mustard, pickles and brown bread.
