Rapala chose digitally printed packaging as it is perfect for campaigns and special products. The cartons for Rapala’s premium fishing lures use MetsäBoard Prime FBB Bright 305 g/m². The eye-catching designs and bright colours both inside and outside the cartons were produced on a HP Indigo 30000 digital printing press.
Metsä Board’s flagship grade MetsäBoard Prime FBB Bright was used as a promotional, light and rigid base for the see-through plastic front panel. Thanks to its rigidity the amount of plastic was reduced and the overall packaging can be easily separated and recycled in relevant recycling schemes.
