The wide range of different packaging solutions nominated for this year's awards shows very clearly the versatility of Metsä Board's folding boxboard grades. Lightweight paperboards can offer the advantages of heavier grades in terms of stiffness and thickness while using less raw materials for the same application. At the same time the smooth surface further allows for excellent print results and demanding finishes to ensure attractive brand designs.

The European Carton Excellence Awards have become a symbol of excellence and innovation in the world of packaging.
