Mars Wrigley’s Maltesers box was first launched over 90 years ago, in 1930. For a large part of its history, it has included a black PE film liner to preserve the quality of the contents. The new recyclable Maltesers box developed by Graphic Packaging now benefits from a 100% cartonboard construction, with a protective dispersion coating which allows the PE liner to be eliminated. This move will see 82 tonnes of plastic removed from the environment every year.
Toblerone Bundle by Mondelēz includes three different flavours of the Toblerone chocolate bars. The bundle packaging, a triangular prism which takes on the iconic shape of Toblerone chocolate, is sold exclusively in high frequency travel outlets and makes a great gift to share with other chocolate lovers. It allows unique branding and shelf display of a multipack unit. The sophisticated production, highly finished with gold foil, embossing and varnishing, is an eye-catcher. The packaging was manufactured by MM Packaging.
The art of soulful living is a Rituals giftbox to promote 15 minutes "me-time" every day. To highlight the contents, a natural touch and feel was important for this concept. Premium virgin fibre boards create enough strength, while the all-over fabric structure embossing, combined with the matt dispersion varnish, generates the natural touch and feel. Hot foil is used perfectly to highlight this personal gift. The closing lid is constructed as a separate element to give the consumer the option to use the box without it, once opened. The packaging was manufactured by Van Genechten Packaging.
At first sight, the Herbal Essences Shampoo Conditioner bundle by Procter & Gamble looks simple but it is very well thought-out and holds and presents the product perfectly. You can pick it up as one product and even shake it without the products falling out. While doing a great job as sustainable bundle, the sleeve also creates a nice new consumer communication platform, and significantly improves shelf appearance. It also allows cross selling of different products and proves to be an efficient sales accelerator. The window cut-out on the front panel allows the consumer to see the scent or flavour of the product inside. The cut-outs on the back allow easy reading of the ingredients list; important in case of intolerances or allergies. The packaging was manufactured by Van Genechten Packaging.
