Modern saw line

The Rauma saw line is about 130 metres long and has a maximum sawing speed of 250 metres per minute. Up to 40 logs are sawn per minute. Sawing takes place in five stages. The four-blade DX-pre-saw enables fast sawing, and the optimised curve saw enables full-edge sawing of the entire log length. The saw line makes efficient use of various measuring devices and machine vision, with various data points throughout the saw line.
