Appointments in Botnia's Management Group and Sales Organisation

Mr. Ari Harmaala has been appointed Senior Vice President, Sales and Marketing and member of Botnia's management group as of 1 September 2011. His previous position was President of Metso Paper China. He succeeds Mr. Jyrki Yrjö-Koskinen, who continues as Senior Adviser until his retirement end of 2011. Mr. Harmaala and Mr. Yrjö-Koskinen both report to Mr. Ilkka Hämälä, CEO.

Mr. Mikael Lagerblom has been appointed Vice President, General Manager of Botnia Pulps GmbH as of 1 September 2011. He is based in Wiesbaden, Germany, and reports to the SVP, Sales and Marketing. Mikael Lagerblom succeeds Mr. Eero Mäntylä,
who continues in special tasks of sales management until his retirement in spring 2012. Mr. Mäntylä reports to the CEO.

Mr. Harri Vertanen has been appointed Vice President, Sales and China Chief Representative as of 1 June 2011. He is based in Shanghai and reports to the SVP, Sales and Marketing.

Mr. Bertrand Lamarque has been appointed Sales Director to Botnia Pulps GmbH in Wiesbaden as of 1 July 2011. He reports to the VP, General Manager of Botnia Pulps GmbH.
