Advanced and customised sawn timber production
Our state-of-the-art facilities and leading advanced manufacturing technologies makes us a leading sawn timber supplier in the Finnish forestry industry. We produce our pine sawn timber from the perspective of the desired properties by the customer.. The logs from Nordic pine trees arrive to our sawmills. First they are debarked and sawn to sizes and dimensions of the desired end use. The sawn timbers are then dried to regulate the moisture of the product. Ultimately, every piece is graded and sorted based on their visual, structural and quality features. We consider the natural qualities of the wood, annual rings and knot frequency as well as heartwood content or moisture content precisely. Among several advantages of pine wood include the natural structure of pine enabling the products’ impregnation for various sites requiring weather and rot resistance.
