Metsä Tissue mills

Metsä Tissue has nine mills around Europe producing high hygiene products for consumers and professionals and greaseproof papers for professional and consumer use. Metsä Tissue’s head office is in Espoo, Finland. Consumer tissue products are sold under the well-known brands Lambi, Serla, Mola and Tento. Katrin brand portfolio is targeted to professional users and SAGA is Metsä Tissue’s greaseproof papers brand.

Metsä Tissue uses certified management systems to ensure continuous improvement of its operations and compliance with the systems’ requirements.

All Metsä Tissue’s production facilities are certified with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 50001 quality, environmental and energy efficiency standards and almost all have an occupational safety management standard ISO 45001. Metsä Tissue mills also have chain-of-custody certificates to ensure the traceability of the wood-based raw material. In the development of safety at work, Metsä Tissue's goal is zero accidents.

Many of Metsä Tissue’s products carry the Nordic Swan Ecolabel, the EU Ecolabel or the German Blue Angel ecolabel, which are indications of the products meeting a strict environmental criteria throughout their life cycles.
