The two tissue mills belonging to Metsä Tissue GmbH are centrally located in Germany, in Kreuzau (Nordrhein-Westfalen) and Raubach (Rheinland-Pfalz). The third German mill site operates under the name of Metsä Greaseproof Papers GmbH in Düren (also situated in Nordrhein-Westfalen) and produces greaseproof paper for food packaging for cooking and baking.
Metsä Tissue has been certified and awarded as a Top Employer 2024, 2023, 2022 and 2021 for its outstanding work environment.
We cooperate locally
We are an active community member and respect the diversity of the local communities in which we operate. We employ a significant number of people and actively promote well-being at work. Our local involvement includes cooperation with the local authorities, schools, media and different partners and organisations. We aim to work continuously to protect and enhance the environment surrounding our mill.
