Metsä Tissue, part of the Metsä Group, is curtailing its paper production at Krapkowice mill in Poland by stopping the PM6 until the end of December 2019 and will decide by the end of the year whether the PM6 will be restarted. The annual production capacity of the PM6 has been approximately 20,000 tonnes. The curtailment is necessary because of the currently unsatisfactory prices of tissue papers in the market. Metsä Tissue will also aim in future to balance its mills to meet market demand.
