Master Plank is now Kerto® LVL
Metsä Wood has re-branded its Master Plank LVL products to Kerto® LVL. Master Plank product name has been in use only in the US market.Although the name changes, the products remain unchanged and all certifications, technical instructions and literature remain valid and in full effect. With the name change, all markets will be using a consistent brand and the message to customers that Kerto® is specifically Metsä Wood's own name for LVL products.
“It was important for us to change the brand, because the old name referred to scaffolding planks and our offering is much wider,” says Jari Tikkanen, SVP Building and Industry.
“The new brand was launched at NAWLA trade show in Dallas 4-5.11.2015. Customers here have been positive to the change and I am sure the transition will be smooth as Master Plank branded products will be delivered for some time together with the new brand,” believes Kirk Nichols, VP-Sales, Americas.
