The Estonian Competition Authority has approved a business arrangement whereby Metsä Group will integrate the maintenance operations of Metsä Wood's Pärnu plywood mill into its own organisation as of 1 October 2024.
On 24 April 2024, Metsä Group and Quant Finland and Quant Estonia signed an agreement on the transfer of business for the maintenance operations to Metsä Group, and the transfer is scheduled to take place on 1 October 2024.
