Building D(emountable): Wooden elements help with fast assembly

Building D(emountable) in Delft, The Netherlands, is a great example of hybrid building. Four-storied office building is made of wooden Kerto LVL elements, steel and glass.

Kerto LVL elements are carefully made-to-measure and assembled on site. The load-bearing structure was put together in only three weeks.

“We are planning to do this type of building more often and we are very pleased with the results too,” says Jan Pesman, founder and architect of Dutch architectural bureau cepezed. cepezed designed the building themselves and used IMd Consultative Engineer as a constructor and structural designer.
