Metsä Wood's Pärnu plywood mill
Metsä Wood’s birch plywood mill was inaugurated in Pärnu, Estonia in October 2018. The mill's production capacity is 50,000 m3 birch plywood a year. The birch plywood mill in Pärnu uses birch veneers as a raw material.
The mill produces plywood products of high added value, mostly meant for demanding end users in the transport equipment and construction industries. The finished plywood products are primarily be exported to Central Europe.
