How to apply?Fill in the application as instructed. Please notice that you can change the language of the application form from the career site's upper right corner, from the language selection.
You can easily apply for a job by first linking your CV or LinkedIn profile to the application. The system will then automatically fill in part of the form. If you have previously applied for a job at Metsä Group and created a candidate account, you can sign in to your account and reuse your previous application. Complete the missing information, check the details and submit the application.If the recruitment is done anonymously, it's indicated on the job advertisement. Please notice that in anonymous recruitments it's very important that you reply to all questions to make your competences and skills visible. You can attach a CV to your application, but it is hidden at the initial stage of the recruitment process. If you are invited for an interview, recruiters will have access to your CV to support the interview. At the screening stage, the following information is hidden from the recruiters until the interview stage: name, date of birth, contact details, gender, mother tongue, dates of education and name of the educational institution. All attachments are also hidden. Our recruiting system will guide you through the application process. You will be asked for personal data, but all the above mentioned information is hidden from the recruiters until the interview stage.

Applying
Applicants submit their applications electronically through the recruitment system available on our website.
Reviewing
We review the applications and reply to all applicants. Local HR and the recruiting manager are in charge of reviewing the applications. The time required to process the applications varies depending on, for example, the recruitment schedule and the number of applicants.
Contacting
We contact all applicants by email or phone as soon as possible. In some of our recruitments, we utilize video interviews within the first round candidate screening. We send invitations to the video interviews by email.
Interviewing
We invite suitable candidates to first round interviews. At this stage, we interview the candidates with the skills and work experience that best match the job.
Assessment and second round interviews
If necessary, we will arrange personnel tests and hold a second interview for those selected for the next stage.
Contract
We agree on the terms of employment and sign a work contract. We always provide employment contracts and certificates of employment in writing.
Onboarding
We familiarise new employees thoroughly with Metsä’s organisation and ways of working as well as with their duties. During the employment relationship, supervisors provide work guidance, help to set goals and monitor their achievement. Our organisation focuses on developing the know-how of our personnel, and a personal development plan is drawn up for each employee.
