Our Renko sawmill in the Kanta-Häme region produces high-quality spruce sawn timber as its main product, which it supplies to various industries. Our beautiful spruce sawn timber, offering consistent quality, is an ideal material for interiors. It is well suited to indoor and outdoor cladding, furniture, construction, joinery products, glulam production and concrete moulds.
The sawn timber produced in Renko is made of Nordic pine, sourced from sustainably managed forests. We always know the origin of the wood we use.
We serve customers around the world, and around 90% of Renko sawmill’s production is exported. Our solid expertise and close cooperation with customers ensure that our sawn timber offers the properties that our customers require. These include appropriate moisture content, weather resistance and aesthetic properties, as well as excellent dimensional stability and stiffness.
Renko sawmill is an important employer in the Kanta-Häme region, both directly and indirectly. We cooperate closely with local players, and every year we support initiatives promoting the wellbeing of children and young people. Our cooperation with educational institutions in the region is active and diverse. Among other things, we offer summer jobs, traineeships and apprenticeship training, and participate in recruitment events organised by local higher education institutions.
