It's time to talk – discussion series is for everyone interested in forests and the solutions forests offer. The episodes cover a wide range of topics, including regenerative land use, the wood-based textile industry, EU directives, the environmental impact of product design, forests as investment opportunities and regenerative forestry. A total of eight episodes will be published.

In addition to Metsä Group's experts, guests will include Sami Sykkö, Merja Mähkä, Ville Niinistö, Panu Halme and Hanna Silvola.

The episodes will be published on Spotify, the first episodes are already available for listening. 

The first episode is about biodiversity in the built environment, and the studio will be joined by Timo Lehesvirta, Senior Nature Expert at Metsä Group, Jere Nieminen, Chairman of the Villi vyöheke ry and Riku Lumiaro, Special Expert at the Finnish Environment Institute. In the second episode, fashion expert Sami Sykkö, Professor at LUT University, and Niklas Von Weymarn, CEO of Metsä Spring, discuss whether wood-based textile fibres could revolutionise the fashion industry and offer more sustainable alternatives to cotton and oil-based fibres.
