Central Europeans place increasing weight on sustainability when making their purchase decisions – as has been seen in the daily operations of Müller, a German wholesaler and a long-term customer of Metsä Tissue.
Müller supplies Metsä Tissue’s high-quality sustainably produced tissue papers to German hospitals, care homes, schools, daycare centres, hotels and shopping centres, and other places.
According to Strategy and Marketing Director Marion Müller, German professional buyers appreciate knowing that the wood-based raw material and the tissue papers made from it have sustainable origins.

The sustainability labels and certificates granted to Metsä Tissue’s tissue papers such as Nordic Swan, EU Ecolabel and EcoVadis also have a big impact on the purchase decisions of German professional buyers.
